What is it?
John F Barnes Myofascial Release is a hands on, safe, and effective approach using a triad of techniques including structural, rebounding, and unwinding. Structural techniques include gentle sustained pressure over a long period of time to allow restrictions within the fascial tissue to release. Rebounding uses the fluid/energy dynamics with a gentle rocking motion. And unwinding is the bodies’ spontaneous movement. Rebounding and unwinding release holding and bracing patterns, while the structural component works directly on restrictions.
